Self-styled godman and rape convict Asaram Bapu, who is out on interim bail on medical grounds, is currently visiting Ayodhya. He visited the Ram Temple on Wednesday morning and is currently staying at Lakshman Kila. He was found guilty of raping his female disciple multiple times at his Ahmedabad Ashram and was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment in 2023.
