Rapper Jay-Z was spotted wearing a T-shirt having the portrait of Lamu's Riyadha Mosque as he came out of a restaurant in Santa Monica, California. The mosque's clerics wrote a letter to the designer of the shirt, saying they are "disturbed and actually feel insulted". The letter called on the designer to show respect by removing the portrait.
