A rare 'Supermoon Blue Moon' will rise at 2.26 pm EDT on August 19 (11:56 pm IST). This will be the first of four consecutive supermoons this year. While the term supermoon refers to the moon being within 90% of its closest approach to Earth, a Blue Moon is the second full moon in a month with two full moons.
