A rare 100 kg green sea turtle was rescued from the Kali River near the Santoshi Mata Temple in Karwar, Uttara Kannada. Forest officials and wildlife experts carried out a safe rescue and provided medical treatment, as the turtle was exhausted. Authorities said it will be released back into the sea once its health improves.
