A rare 48-kg Atlantic croaker fish was caught by a Pakistani fisherman near the coast of Jiwani located in Gwadar. The fish was sold by the fisherman for ₹34 lakh after an auction took place. "This species (large croaker fish) has a high demand because parts of it are known for their use in medicine and surgery," an official said.
