Researchers at Durham University have uncovered a rare fossil, Youti yuanshi, in China, providing a detailed look at an early ancestor of modern insects, spiders, crabs, and centipedes. Dating back over 520 million years to the Cambrian period, this euarthropod fossil is exceptionally well-preserved, including its internal organs. The study was published in Nature journal.
