Five ancient Assamese manuscripts were handed over to the Rashtrapati Bhavan Library for preservation. Collected from satras across Assam, the works include texts by Srimanta Sankardev and Madhavdev. The move aims to highlight Assam’s literary heritage and support the demand for classical language status for Assamese.
