A 2-year-old with severe G6PD deficiency and acute kidney injury was successfully treated at Prashanth Hospitals, Chennai. Presenting in shock and critical anaemia, the child underwent emergency care, dialysis, and CRRT. Multidisciplinary coordination enabled full recovery. Experts noted the rarity, urgency, and complexity of such cases. They stressed early diagnosis and advanced paediatric care.
