Rare hybrid heart surgery saves 29-year-old man in Gurugram

Doctors at a hospital located in Gurugram performed a rare, life-saving hybrid cardiac surgery on a 29-year-old man with a ruptured thoracoabdominal aorta. Combining open bypass and minimally invasive stenting, the high-risk procedure saved the patient after multiple hospitals declined treatment. The case is among the first of its kind in South-East Asia.
