Archaeologists have discovered a rare Veeragallu, or hero stone, depicting a tiger hunt in Tekkalakote, Ballari district in Karnataka. The inscription commemorates the son of Anumaya, who is believed to have died during a tiger hunt. Researchers said the carving vividly portrays the hero battling a tiger with a sword, while a hunting dog joins the struggle, showcasing remarkable craftsmanship.
