A rare tornado-like cloud formation was seen in US' Pennsylvania, with its video going viral on social media. Known as scud clouds, these are harmless, low-hanging clouds that often form beneath storms and are sometimes mistaken for tornadoes due to their appearance. Such clouds are generally associated with cool, moist air, such as thunderstorm outflow.
