A rare all-white female penguin has been filmed in Chilean Antarctica. The penguin is mostly white due to leucism, a genetic mutation that causes partial loss of pigmentation of the animals' plumage or fur. White penguins are rare because leucism is a recessive gene and they may be more vulnerable to predators as they can be easily seen.
