During Afghanistan's Asia Cup 2025 match against Sri Lanka, Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan opted for DRS without realising that he had been bowled out. Rashid was hit on the pads after which the ball rolled onto the stumps. He got out on the bowling of Nuwan Thushara. Sri Lanka went on to win the match by six wickets.
