Rats ate organs to stay warm in body: Death investigator Butcher

Former NYC death investigator Barbara Butcher said on the podcast that she once found a man reduced to skin and bones in an abandoned New York building, his organs gone. "The rats burrowed inside and ate up all the organs so they could stay warm," a cop explained. She couldn't tell if he'd been dead for three weeks or five months.
