The Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) central board, on Friday, deliberated on the state of the local and international economies and related issues, with Governor Sanjay Malhotra presiding over the 620th meeting of the Central bank's central board of directors. According to a statement from the RBI, the Board also approved the risk-based deposit insurance framework for banks.
