Capitalmind AMC's CEO Deepak Shenoy said RBI transferring ₹2.86 lakh crore in dividend to the government for FY26 is "disappointing". "They had nearly ₹4 lakh crore of profit...and yet, chose to keep a substantial portion of it in their...risk buffer [which] they've never had to use," he said. This is the highest-ever dividend transferred by the RBI to the Centre.
