RBI mandates uniform bulk deposit rates from Oct 1

From October 1, 2026, RBI requires all banks to display bulk deposit interest rates uniformly across every branch with no variation. Rates must be published on bank websites by 10:10 am each business day. Banks retain flexibility for larger deposits but cannot use complex pricing for deposits under ₹3 crore.
