The Reserve Bank of India on Wednesday projected the retail inflation at 4.6% for FY27. RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra also flagged an increase in upside risks to inflation due to the West Asia crisis and possible El Niño conditions. RBI said as per the new CPI series, headline inflation rose to 3.2% in February, from 2.7% in January.
