RBI has released the calendar for the premature redemption of 30 sovereign gold bond (SGB) tranches issued between May 2017 and March 2020. Under the SGB scheme, investors can redeem their SGBs after five years from the date of issue. Investors will have to submit their request for redemption to the Receiving Offices/NSDL/CDSL/RBI Retail Direct within the designated windows.
