Private lender RBL Bank's board has approved the request of its MD and CEO Vishwavir Ahuja to "proceed on leave with immediate effect". Current Executive Director Rajeev Ahuja has been named interim MD & CEO with immediate effect, the board said. Vishwavir, who had been leading RBL since 2010, was MD & CEO of Bank of America, India from 2001-2009.
