Police resorted to lathicharge after celebrations following RCB's IPL title win turned chaotic in parts of Hyderabad, including near the Secretariat, SR Nagar and Kukatpally. Fans reportedly blocked roads, disrupted traffic and caused inconvenience to commuters, after which police dispersed crowds. The celebrations came after RCB defeated GT in Ahmedabad to win their second straight IPL title.
