UK PM Keir Starmer called the firing of warning shots by a Russian warship at a UK-flagged yacht in the English Channel “reckless and deeply concerning”. He said the couple on the yacht “must’ve been terrified”. Starmer added that while the incident doesn't point to anything sinister, it doesn't take away from the fact that Russia is aggressive across Europe.
