Record for most WhatsApp calls made in 1 day broken with 1.4 bn calls on New Year's Eve
More than 1.4 billion voice and video calls were made on New Year's Eve 2020 globally on WhatsApp, American technology conglomerate Facebook announced. It is the most number of calls ever made in a single day on WhatsApp, Facebook added. Further, WhatsApp calling increased by over 50% compared to the same day last year.
