Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies issued an apology to their driver Yuki Tsunoda after he was eliminated in SQ1 due to a timing error by his team at US Grand Prix. "It was a choice between...cooling down on track or trying to cool down...in garage, which we thought we'd have the time to do...we missed the cut," Mekies said.
