Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo registered his first Formula One victory of the season, winning the Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday ahead of teammate Max Verstappen and Mercedes' Nico Rosberg, who finished second and third respectively. Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton had started at pole but crashed out due to an engine failure. Ricciardo is at third place in the overall drivers' standings.
