Payment infrastructure firm Infibeam Avenues has agreed to purchase a 54% stake in media company Rediff.com for up to ₹25 crore. The all-cash deal is expected to be completed within 90 days. Founded in 1996 by IIM Calcutta alumnus Ajit Balakrishnan, Rediff.com was valued at over $600 million on Nasdaq during its peak.
