Mukesh Ambani's oil-to-telecom conglomerate Reliance Industries on Thursday said it's acquiring 259-year-old British toy store chain Hamleys from its Chinese owner C.banner for ₹620 crore. The toy retailer has 167 stores across 18 countries. Reliance already runs the Indian franchise of the Hamleys brand and currently operates 88 stores in 29 cities in the country.
