The remains of the last-known Tasmanian tiger, believed to have been lost for 85 years, have been found in a cupboard in a museum in Australia. The thylacine died in captivity at Hobart Zoo in 1936 and its body was given to the local museum. The remains were preserved, but were not properly catalogued, as per the museum.
