The National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken suo motu cognisance of profiles on Twitter sharing pornographic content, directing Twitter India MD to remove all pornographic content from the platform within a week. The NCW has also written to Delhi Police Commissioner to take appropriate legal action. This comes after an FIR was registered against Twitter over child pornographic content.
