ReNew CEO calls fossil fuel imports 'Achilles heel' of economy
ReNew CEO Sumant Sinha said on a podcast that it has long been "the Achilles heel of India's economy" that India has to import $150-200 billion of fossil fuels every year. "Every time oil prices go up, the rupee goes down, and inflation goes up," he said. India has to find a way of escaping that situation, he added.
