Renowned journalist Kamal Khan passed away at the age of 61 on Friday after suffering a heart attack in Lucknow. He was a recipient of the Ramnath Goenka Award, and the Ganesh Shanker Vidyarthi Award from the President of India. Fellow journalists and many politicians including Priyanka Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal and Mayawati mourned his death.
