The Renuka Wetland in Sirmaur district has reaffirmed its global ecological importance with the arrival of hundreds of migratory birds this winter. This winter, the wetland has turned into a thriving refuge for migratory birds. The Wildlife Department under the Shimla Circle has spotted around 423 species of migratory birds till the second week of January.
