Bombay High Court granted divorce to a man, ruling that repeated suicide threats by spouse amount to cruelty. Citing a Supreme Court precedent, the bench said such conduct makes it impossible to continue marriage peacefully. The couple has lived separately since 2012. The court ordered the man to pay ₹25 lakh and transfer two flats to his wife as settlement.
