The Western Railway (WR) has submitted a report to a Railways panel detailing all projects that were to be undertaken at the Elphinstone Road station in the last 10 years. This comes after it was found that WR delayed issuing tenders for a foot overbridge at the station. Over 20 people were killed in the Elphinstone station stampede in September.
