HCL Tech clarified that reports, claiming Reliance Industries Limited and HCL were independently "evaluating" deals to pick up a 30% equity stake each in semiconductor wafer fab applicant ISMC Analog, are not related to the company. However, those are pertaining to the HCL Group. RIL and HCL Group could reportedly invest through subsidiaries and total investment could exceed ₹4,000 crore.
