Researcher Joe Dispenza explained that when a person reviews a traumatic event in their mind, the brain produces the same chemistry as the actual event. As the body is the "unconscious mind," it can’t tell the difference between a thought and reality, he added. This forces the body to relive and be "abused" by the past daily, he further said.
