Researchers have developed an AI therapist tool that runs in smartwatches, smartphones and earbuds. Named 'UbiMyTherapist' (short for 'You Be My Therapist'), the tool works as a digital therapy assistant that continuously monitors a user's emotional state and responds with personalised support. It uses the user's medical history, psychology and real-time emotional state to offer support.
