Researchers reveal common end-of-life dreams
Researchers at Azienda USL–IRCCS di Reggio Emilia in Italy surveyed 239 palliative-care professionals and found that people nearing death may experience vivid end-of-life dreams and visions involving deceased loved ones, bright lights, open doors and symbolic journeys. While many experiences are peaceful and comforting, some can be distressing.
