Researchers at US-based NVIDIA have built an artificial intelligence-powered app 'GANimal' that takes input from a single picture of an animal and recreates its smile and other expressions on different animals. The app is powered by generative adversarial networks (GANs), an AI technique which pits one neural network against another. Researchers are now testing it with flower and food images.
