Residents of Dadu Majra, Sector 38 (West), Sector 25 and Dhanas colony in Chandigarh complained of breathing difficulty, irritation in the throat and eyes and foul smell after thick smoke covered the areas following a massive fire at the Dadu Majra dumping ground. The fire that broke out at 1:30 am on Wednesday could not be doused until 12 hours.
