Residents in parts of Rawalpindi and Islamabad were confined to homes after authorities imposed security measures ahead of US-Iran talks in Pakistan's capital, reported Dawn. Roads leading to Nur Khan Airbase were reportedly sealed with containers and barbed wire. A "blue book" protocol would be extended to delegates, which refers to high-security VIP treatment and arrangements for VVIPs.
