Resistance training helps boost long jump in young athletes: Study

A new study in Scientific Reports found that resistance and complex training both improved strength and jump performance in teen long jumpers. But complex training which mixes weightlifting and plyometric drills led to better results, suggesting it's more effective for young athletes looking to boost power and jump distance.
