Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez criticised the entry of illegal immigrants into Europe and said, "Solidarity and empathy are optional, respect for European treaties is not." He further shared that from 2021 to 2026, 478,600 illegal immigrants entered Europe via Italy, 340,600 entered via Western Balkans and 259,800 via Greece. This comes after thousands of illegal immigrants entered Spain from Morocco.
