National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI), which represents interests of over 5 lakh restaurants, is building an alternative platform for apps like Zomato and Swiggy. It's working with a tech platform and logistics service providers to allow restaurants to take orders on platforms like WhatsApp. NRAI President Anurag Katriar said he expects the platform to go live in six weeks.
