Retail investors pull out most money from equities in 6 years
Retail investors withdrew ₹8,461 crore from Indian equities in 2025 (as of December 19), marking the highest outflow since 2019. The trend came amid record FPI selling of ₹1.58 lakh crore, even as domestic institutional investors infused a record ₹7.61 lakh crore into the market.
