Retired Haryana official duped of ₹81 lakh in herbal liquid scam

A retired Haryana civil aviation employee from Zirakpur lost ₹81 lakh to fraudsters who lured him into a bulk herbal liquid supply deal. Starting September 2024, the accused demanded money for lab tests, customs, and tax clearances. Police registered a case, froze ₹20 lakh across accounts, and are tracing the remaining ₹60 lakh.
