Retd headmistress grows dragon fruit at home; earns ₹4 lakh/month

After retiring as the headmistress of a Kerala government school in 2022, Remabhai S has turned her 3500 sq ft backyard and terrace into a high-density dragon fruit farm. Her homemade organic fertilisers and soil-less farming produce around 1500 kg of fruits monthly. She also sells stem cuttings across India, Maldives and Sri Lanka, earning ₹4 lakh/month in all.
