Retired IAS officer challenges CAPF deployment in Delhi HC

Retired civil servant Ashish Joshi has filed a PIL in the Delhi High Court challenging repeated extensions of Central Armed Police Forces deployment in Delhi for protest-related duties. The petition questions legality, proportionality, and duration of deployment of 270+ companies, and seeks written orders, periodic reviews every 14 days, and a protocol governing large-scale CAPF deployments.
