The Delhi government has urged Supreme Court to reconsider its 2018 order which banned 10-year-old diesel and 15-year-old petrol vehicles in NCR as a pollution control measure. The government stated that the order was not based on any scientific study. It added there are stricter pollution control measures in place like implementation of Bharat Stage-VI standards (BS-VI Standards).
