Revoked 300,000 visas: US
The US State Department has said it revoked 300,000 visas under Secretary Marco Rubio's leadership after undertaking an unprecedented review of US visa holders. The department said the revocations were the highest in US history. Majority of revocations were due to criminal activity, public safety concerns, immigration violations, and fraud or misrepresentation.
